Episode 67: About Our Guest

Christy Stevenson, mom of 3 and married 30 years, grew up a Navy brat but considers Goose Creek, SC as her hometown. She earned her BA in English Teaching & Theatre Arts from BYU and taught 7th & 8th grade before becoming a mom and shifting into fitness teaching, dedicating over 20 years to the fitness industry as an educator & writer. She’s taught high school part-time, subbed, and tutored. After moving to CT, she took up photography as a hobby, which eventually morphed into a career in 2017, but she got bit by a tick at her first photo session, contracted Lyme and babesia, and spent the first 6 years of her photography career also battling persistent Lyme disease. For her health, she and her family relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 2018 to live the beach life. Today, after many different treatments, she has her life back & enjoys traveling and capturing life’s milestone moments for her clients.
