Episode 66: About Our Guest

Amanda Gipson is a Jacksonville native, married mom of five, homeschool educator, and founder of Giplings, a company dedicated to creating educational resources that support children’s learning and family connection. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Apparel Design, Amanda spent six years as a custom performance costume designer, working closely with mothers and daughters before becoming a stay-at-home mom for eight years. Alongside her veteran husband, she lived and traveled around the world, experiences that deepened her appreciation for the importance of family, education, and meaningful connection. Today, she combines her background in design and motherhood to create products and resources that help families learn, play, and grow together.
Episode 66: Giplings

Giplings was founded to support mothers and their children by creating meaningful resources that encourage learning, connection, and purposeful play. Our journey began with the Duck-links™ 3-in-1 bookmark, designed to inspire a love of reading, and has since expanded to include the Duck-links Anywhere Game Set and our children’s picture book, All My Ducks in a Row, a story dedicated to moms that reminds families that life doesn’t always go as planned—and that’s okay. Our products promote family connection, cognitive development, education, and screen-free play, and we’re proud to partner with local organizations including The Arc Jacksonville Village, LearningRx, Awetism Wonderland, and Vivo Healthcare. As a Jacksonville-based business, we’re passionate about investing in our community and helping local families learn, grow, and thrive together.
