Episode 65: About Our Guest

Once upon a time, Aylin Kelley was a kindergarten teacher who fell in love with the magic of children’s books – the way a good story can fill a classroom with laughter, curiosity, and connection. For 12 wonderful years, she had the joy and privilege of teaching kindergarteners how to read, write, wonder, and grow. Aylin holds a master’s degree in elementary education and has spent her career immersed in the world of early literacy and child development. Now, as a mom to her two sweet girls, she gets to experience that same magic at home – when we giggle with The Pigeon, dance with Pete the Cat, and wallow with The Pout Pout Fish.
Episode 65: The Littlest Book Club

Thoughtfully designed for children ages 3 to 6, The Littlest Book Club offers a unique storytime experience that goes beyond the book. Each club meeting centers around a beloved picture book and begins with an interactive read-aloud infused with music, movement, meaningful conversation, and the foundations of early literacy. The excitement and discovery continues as children explore themed centers that extend and enrich their experience with the book. Each center is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and intentionally designed to support key areas of early learning. These hands-on experiences include art, sensory play, fine motor activities, imaginative play, early math activities, and early literacy activities.
