Katie Roseborough was born and raised in the beaches area of Jacksonville, Florida. She and her husband, also a Jacksonville native, now live with their 3 kids in the Baymeadows area of town. Katie is a licensed physical therapist, a children’s book author, and the host of The Sugar Mama’s Podcast, a show designed for moms and caregivers of Type 1 diabetics.

It features heartfelt and insightful conversations with other T1D moms and those connected to the Type 1 community. Each episode aims to encourage, equip, empower, inform and inspire those caring for children with Type 1 Diabetes.
Being a Type 1 caregiver can be, at times, overwhelming and isolating. The podcast was created to foster a sense of belonging, solidarity and understanding among those caring for Type 1 kids. Through the podcast, Katie welcomes parents to the T1D community and wants everyone to know that you are not alone on this journey.
